Copyright Infringement Notice

Topanga Consulting respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our services to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content available through our services infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
  3. A description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on our services, with enough detail for us to find it
  4. Your address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its former location
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or Massachusetts if outside the US) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyrighted materials.
